Biography
Meet Dr. Xie
Dr. Wenfei Xie (pronounced Wen-fee Shay), M.D., provides top-notch, compassionate, and personalized care for all of her patients. A native of Leavenworth, Kansas, Dr. Xie was valedictorian at Leavenworth High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. At Stanford, she was in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society.
Dr. Xie obtained her medical degree from the University of Michigan and graduated with Distinction. While there, she was involved with numerous organizations, like Medical Student Council, for which she served as president.
Dr. Xie completed her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. Faculty members selected her to serve as chief resident. She also won several awards for excellence in patient care, medical student education, and research.
Dr. Xie is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a board-certified dermatologist. She practices general, medical, and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Xie is excited to be back in the Kansas City area.
