Biography
Meet Sarah
Sarah Myers is a board-certified physician assistant and native of the Kansas City metropolitan area. She has previously practiced as a dermatology PA in the Kansas City area and trained under Drs. Meggan Newland, Scott Ravis, and Emily Ochoa. She is excited to be joining Kansas City Skin and Cancer Center and to continue providing dermatology care to the community. Originally from Shawnee, KS, Sarah attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. She is a fellow of the national Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
Sarah practices medical dermatology, including skin cancer screening and education, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, rashes, and more. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient dermatology. In her practice, Sarah emphasizes patient-centered care and aims to empower patients to care for their skin by providing comprehensive education. She enjoys getting to know her patients as individuals, performing thorough exams, and formulating a thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plan that is tailored to the patient’s needs.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys staying active outside, cooking, cheering on the Chiefs and Jayhawks, and spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever.
