Biography

Meet Charity

Mrs. Charity Slayton is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2013. She has been with the Kansas City Skin and Cancer Center since 2016.

As a dermatology N.P., Charity is trained to diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic dermatological disorders affecting the skin, hair, and nails in adult and pediatric patients.

Charity is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.

Charity is passionate about patient education regarding skin cancer and preventative behaviors. Her mother is a Melanoma survivor and a driving factor in Charity’s passion for dermatology. When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
