Biography
Meet Austin – NOW SCHEDULING FOR MARCH 2025!
Austin Shandley is a board certified Physician Assistant who received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Missouri State University. Prior to his Masters he graduated from the University of Missouri- Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Chemistry. He worked in a genetics lab and received his EMT certification during his undergraduate studies.
Austin has been practicing medicine since 2014, starting in Ear, Nose and Throat before switching to Dermatology in 2018. He has been involved in numerous dermatologic clinical trials along with seeing general dermatology patients. Mr. Shandley was voted Best of Saint Joseph in Dermatology in 2024. He was also on the adjunct faculty and a preceptor for Wichita State University Physician Assistant Program.
Austin is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
In his spare time, Austin likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include exercising, golfing, fishing, woodworking and traveling.
